Fender Bassman 100 - rrp £499
Nice versatile 1 x 15 bass combo. Not too big and heavy, not too much money. Built in comp and clip limiter.
studio work or the less demanding gigs. The Bassman 60 has some nice tones, designed to go upright or kickback it's very Jazz friendly !!
the price is friendly too - £379

When you start out on the long lonely bass players road you'll soon discover that your kit costs twice as much as your guitarist mate's does. Fortunately, you can get quality Fender practice amps from around £100 upwards.
Don't get me wrong, these little Rumblers won't keep up with your aspiring Dave Grohl's racket. However, you will have to put in the hours up in your room (better than playstation and w*****g) if you are ever going to be any good. What I'm getting at is the Fender Rumble is a good practice amp !!
