Lowden guitars are hand made in Ireland using the absolute finest selected timbers. They are big, earthy sounding, manly guitars that love to be played hard.

If you have ever witnessed the late (very great) Eric Roche live you will have seen a Lowden 010 being battered and abused almost beyond belief while sounding sweeter than any other guitar on the planet. You might notice that for all the abuse his guitar gets, he doesn't do a lot of tuning up, that's a Lowden for you.

Once you buy one of these stunning guitars, it will be your friend for life. George Lowden describes his guitars as living objects. Remember when you try one that this is the worst it is ever going to sound, with age, as the timbers dry out it will only become more resonant.
