MarkBass might not be the most imaginitive of brand identities but don't be fooled by this (it's because they're Italians!!) They have managed to produce some of the most exciting bass amplification I have seen for a long time.
Already going strong in Europe, they are now outselling some of the major players over there. When you play one you'll see why. They are powerful amplifiers driving lightweight neodimium speakers with simple, effective controls. You want portable bass amplification? - it don't get any better than this - better that all the overpriced American alternatives
Using new digital power supply technology, this **2.9 Kilo** amp delivers a monster 500 watts into 4 OHms. The EQ is sweet and responsive with an additional Variable Preshape Filter (VPF) & the Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator provide subtle dynamicsto suit all styles. It will drive two 4 x 10"s with ease and way out-performs anything else in it's price range. It's under £500 quid for Chrissakes!! LittleMark comes with

Soundworks reccommended MarkBass
monster set up**
For a huge wall of sound that will kill your drummer and guitarist in one Low E, we reckon you should go for the following.....
The MarkBass SD800 digital power amp into a Std 104HF and a Std 151HF. Realising the full 750 watts of power.
Yes of course we're gonna reccommend this rig because it's the most expensive one, but it's still way cheaper than an Ampeg equivalent.
This rig will set you back £2199
