Repairs

We offer a repair service at Phoenix Soundworks that covers both instrument and electronic items. By using the services of tried and trusted third party repair people we can usually boast a quick turn-around.

Electronic Repairs

Normal service resumed on electronic repairs approx turnaround 2 - 3 weeks.

Pretty much all electronic items can be repaired by one of our appointed 3rd party experienced engineers. Bring your busted backline and poorly PA kit in and we'll get it working again.

C-Audio amps are returned to C-Audio...it's the only way!

Items found to be beyond repair will incur a small charge (usually £20) for fault finding investigation time.

Instrument repairs

Basic instrument repairs can be carried out in store, replacement parts are available (to order) for self fitting.

Where more extensive work is required we use an experienced third party luthier. Re-fretts, frett polishing, headstock breaks etc can all be done through Phoenix Soundworks.

Set ups are carried out in store when time allows. A basic set up costs from £25 (plus strings), the guitar may have to be left with us. Floyd Rose set ups take a little longer and cost a little more.

Spares

Always enquire about spare part items. For all products that we stock spares can be purchased from us. We can also get spares for other brands. (Peavey, Fender, etc).

Speaker repairs

Replacements drivers and speaker re-cone kits can be ordered through us. We need details of the driver unit make, model, ohmage, etc. Re-cones can be done in store for a small charge.
